American cartoon based on the film Ghostbusters, starring the voice talents of Lorenzo Music as Peter Venkman for the first and second seasons and Dave Coulier for seasons 3-6; Maurice LaMarche as Egon Spengler; Frank Welker as Ray Stantz / Slimer; Arsenio Hall played Winston Zeddemore for seasons 1-3 and Edward L. "Buster" Jones for seasons 4-6; and Laura Summer was Janine Melnitz for the first and second seasons and Kath Soucie played the character for seasons 3-6. The show ran from 1986 to 1991 with 140 episodes.

Extreme Ghostbusters was a 1997 spin off that lasted one season, where Egon Spengler mentored a group of spunky kids as they took up the Ghostbusting mantle.
